Loan resettlement

Good day, my name is Vakele Mohale id ***, i have a problem with settling the loan amount at capitec, upon inquiry at the branch, the amount provided for settlement outweighs the amount currently owed. I cannot understand how is it possible because to my understanding the settlement amount supposed to be low since the amount for settlement must have lower interests rate. The amount currently owed is R23, 958,63 and the settlement amount according to the bank isR24,750.00Your assistance in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Good day
I recently wrote a complaint concerning my loan at capitec and they called me on my mobile phone to explain, but I still feel that it's unfair.
I spoke to Lucinda Ranjoo from Capitec Business Support department with regard to a settlement offer of a loan currently amounting to R23 215 and after the monthly installment R23 958. The offer that I was given for settlement is R24 750, which is higher than the outstanding amount. When I asked her why is it higher than the current balance, she said that it includes the interest calculated from the date of settlement request to the expiry date of the settlement offer.
I was still not satisfied as I continued to ask her about my discount, and she said that the fact that I won't be paying the interest untill the end of the 54 months term, is a discount according to how I understood her.
I rep**** by saying that it wasn't going to make sense if I was to pay interest for those other months that I won't be accumulating, and that I was asking for my settlement discount, and that was when she told me that the only time I would get a discount is if I was on debt review, and I was really not impressed with that answer, as it gives the impression that I have to be drowning in debts and not be able to pay the installments so that I can receive the settlement discount.

I am really disappointed and feel unfairly serviced here, I am asking for a better response concerning the settlement discount offer

This is the response I am getting
  1. Capitec Bank: Good day Mr Mohale. We are trying to contact you to gather urgent info regarding your complaint ***. Kindly contact Complaint (1/2)
  2. Management ***. Should you not contact us back within the next business day, we will consider this as a gesture of contentment to close. (2/2)

I feel so threatened right now, and I have ignored any call, let alone ignoring a call, but there's not a single call that I've missed from Management.
