loan problems

hi i have made a short term loan with capitec 3 months ago, and i actually wanted a long term loan in order to buy a car and they refused. it was said to me that i should take a short term loan pay it good for the first 3 months in order for them to see how i pay my loan then they will grant me a longterm loan. i have been phoning capitec and tried their app and all i hear is i currently do not meet the assesment creteria after i have been told 3 months ago i will get a long term loan. i am in urgent need of a car for transport to work and back but caoitec simply doesnt give a hell. and on top of that they always show adverts on tv about how easy it is to get loans from them and why we need to take loans from them......... i have been a loyal banker since 2013 but this bank cant offer me anything
