Loan insurance doesn't qualify to cover retrenchment
I took out a loan in 2015 and paid it up till 2017 then I got retrenched and during my payments I never skipped payment and I haven't skipped any of my insurance instalments but when I got retrenched in may 2017 I submitted all my retrenchment documents and no one got back to me for follow up or arrangements, when I called after two months it's when they told me im R 12 000 in arrears and my insurance plan wont pay up my debt because I was on contract, what beats me is that they gave me the loan and my employer confirmed with them that I was permanently employed.
