Loan amount increasing.
I took a loan with capitec bank and it has been the most unpleasant experience.I decided to add an extra amount on top however the balance is increasing instead of being reduced.i have complained about the matter however the explanation given was not helpful.

29 Oct 2020, 21:32I received a call indeed however I feel more frustrated than I was before,I was told that the actual amount I was imformed about during an agreement with capitec does not include interests,which is the amount that also reflects on my loan statements.
Now regarding the issue of my loan balance that keeps increasing it is because interests are added every month because they do not operate like other banks I was told.So now i am owing money that i was not told about when i took out the loan.i agreed to the loan because the amount seemed affordable and now the extra amount I added up on top of my monthly installments is not really rewarding because they operate like loan sharks.
I have been with capitec bank for ten years and I have taken a loan before and this is the worst experience as I feel my rights as a consumer have been violated.I wouldn't recommend capitec loans to anyone.
