Loan advance

I would like to know what does it mean if your loan is in advance?

I had a 6month term loan with capitec bank that's due to end of October. On the 15th of September i noticed my balance is R1963 immediately made a transfer to my loan account from my savings account of R1900 which left me with a balance of R63.The same week i wanted to pay the balance and i saw it was R183, fees was added and i understood that. I decided to pay the balance of R183 on my app but it showed outstanding balance exceeded. Unaware of what that means I then decided that to settle my account. When I viewed my loan statement I saw my balance is - R700. I went to me local capitec branch so that someone could explain to me about why there's a negative amount on my statement. I spoke to one of the capitec consultants and was told the - R700 is extra money that was paid into my loan account and that money belongs to me. She told me if i wanted to settle my account i need to pay over R200 but she will phone the head office to ask them if she could deduct it from the advance amount. Her response was "no you can't have any excess to that advance amount "but that i should still pay the settlement amount of overR200 to settle my account. I was not satisfied with that answer so i went home and phoned the bank's collections department and was told a whole different story. The complaints department consultants 3 of them told me 3 different stories. The one consultant told me that the R183 will be deducted from the advance amount and the balance will be automatically transferred into my savings account.I was for a moment very much satisfied with that response. I asked if that could be done before the end of the month where she told me yes it's possible but than i needed to settle.I was more than happy to do. I than phone your collections department just to find out i still have an installment of R1153 (my initial installment amount per month) due. I was confused but she then explained to me that the advance will pay that one installment but that i still need to pay the difference. I understood her at that moment but when tha call was finished i view my loan statement again just to understand what she was explaining and i must say I'm lost. I am utterly disgust and disappointed in your service.
