Load shedding whilst using the ATM now my problem
At about 1800 today, I went to the Goldman Street, Florida branch to view my balance.
When I inserted the card, before the atm could ask me to enter pin, the electricity in the area went off.
I immediately called the customer care and I was told to cancel and get a new one at R50.

Correct me if Im wrong, but i don't understand why I must pay R50 for a card that is stuck in a closed ATM. I did not lose the card, and its in the possession of the bank.

The consultant said its my cost. I feel ******. Why is it so difficult to get my card? The circumstances were beyond my control.
