I was retrenched from work on 15 May 2019. Having got 2 insured loans with Capitec I knew that this was not going to add to my worries. Much to my surprise, after phoning them, sending mails back and forth I still have know idea what is going on. Fact one, once I stop payment the insurance lapse, fact 2, insurance apparently takes 4 months to pay out., fact 3, I'm currently living at the expense of my 23 year old daughter. Fact 4, I can not afford to carry out these payments. Please, if there is anybody out there with the correct info, I would appreciate it. There was no indication that I was going to be retrenched, on Monday I still had work, Tuesday I was unemployed. 40 years of experience in building maintenance going wasted at home. Unless capitec bank needs a facility manager?
