ITC UPDATE

Hi i had a personal loan with capitec bank and it was handed over to debt collectors by the name of JDT Financial services and now the loan is settled (paid up) got the paid up letter now i being told that my ITC will only be updated after a year because it was handed over now their debt still appear on my ITC and this affect my credit score and report cause it appear that i still owe that money
