IT management at Capitec Weskus Mall an absolute nightmare

Capitec Bank at Weskus Mall in Vredenburg have great staff especially Savanna and her female colleague seated next to her closet to the entrance to the Bank. Savanna opened my account five years ago. She was exceptionally professional patient and so helpful and happy to confirm that five years later she is still the same. Her colleague assisted me last week whilst Savanna was on lunch just as professional friendly and helpful. However this review is not about staff but the inefficiencies of the branch’s IT system. I was at the branch on two occasions over a period of two week’s traveling all the way from Langebaan as there is no branch in langebaan just to find the system was off line. When on line the system is so slow to the point a transaction that would normally take half an hour at my bank ABSA take two hours at Capitec Weskus mall . With today’s technology this is unacceptable and the main reason why I have still not transferred my private bank account from ABSA to Capitec Bank
