Is Capitec insurance a ****?

I took a 19 Months loan with Capitec in November 2019 for R40824.07 and a credit card for R10000 for both I subscribe to Capitec loan insurance which I've been paying for since.

In October I got retrenched, put in my insurance claim for both loans, last week I got SMs from Capitec alerting me that insurance claim has being approved and the loan will be payed off in 60 days.

Today 20 November I thought of calling Capitec to find out what happens before 60 days settlement? Their collection department told me that I am liable for two months payment before the loan settlement date.

Now this is the part I don't understand, how do I pay for a loan without a salary while the reason I took insurance was for time such as this? I mean, I am not working, I don't have income but I've insurance.

I went through their terms and conditions and I didn't find anything that highlight something like this. But here is the interesting part of the insurance terms and conditions.

I quote: "Treating customer Fairly"

"This product has been created to meet your requirements. We will at all times deliver on customer service and customer expectations by enforcing the principles of treating customers fairly." (TCF)

"You are confident that your fair treatment is key to our culture." Etc

"We will communicate clearly, appropriately and on time during the lifespan of your policy"

Those are Capitec promise that I am not enjoying any of them since I also had to call to find out that on the 23rd November I am expected to pay over R3000 or R6000 in a period of two months. I am frustrated with a lost of income yet I am expected to pay, what was the insurance for?
