Irritated once again.

Capitec bank has the worse service as far as I'm concerned and I cannot wait to have nothing more to do with them.

As I'm sure you know Covid 19 has hit all of us differently. I personally was with out work for 11 months. Of which Capitec Bank offered no relief at all on a credit card. I received phone calls daily sometimes twice a day even after informing each agent that I was unemployed. Asking them if they had any covid relief in place to which they had said no. I was advised to pay at least a R50 a month which I did when I could. (please note I did not use a single cent of my credit card since January)

In November some funds came into my account for a temporary job that I obtained for 3 months (I don't even have a contract. )

Capitec politely debited 2 separate amounts on the same day (R245.06 & R251, 34). I then went into the Blue route mall branch where I spoke with a consultant named Frank. I said I understand that 1 credit card payment is due but what is the other debit order and why are they two separate amounts. Frank then called someone (not sure who) to try and get it reversed as Capitec had no explanation for the two debits in one day for different amounts.

When on the line. Frank's colleague informed him it is a system error on their side and can only be reversed the next day I need to come back tomorrow. After explaining that I cannot do that because it is not putting me out for petrol and my time the next day. The call center agent then said that because I did not inform them I was working, (I was doing so that day as it was my first pay) there was nothing he could do. I must just accept it. (how can this make sense as I was told it was a system error). After getting absolutely no where with this call center "help" Frank explained the two amounts go to my credit card regardless. I then decided it would be best to just leave the two debit orders as I understand it is money owed to Capitec bank. That was Monday 30th November.

Tuesday I received an sms stating R733, 53 will be due in December, I want to know Why? As Capitec debited twice in November. Wednesday I then got another Sms stating that they received partial payment and my insurance is unpaid I need to pay them R493, 50.

Thursday I now receive an sms from Capitec stating that I have missed credit card payments to the value of R493.50 in the last 30 days.

So can someone from Capitec who KNOWS how to get this sorted please give me a call as your call center staff and branch agents are quite comfortable to say "there's nothing we can do, next". Which is absolutely useless to me!.

You, Capitec have no right to just scratch in my account. No less twice on the same day. Not the first, nor second time Capitec has messed with my funds with no consent.
