Insurance Cover not active in event of Retrenchmen

I opened a personal loan account with capitec and I was advised a free retrenchment cover will be included.<br> <br> I was retrenched last year April due to company closure, I took my documents to Capitec branch, up to date nothing has been actioned, I am still unemployed almost after a year later, Every time a consultant contacted me I made an arrangement to pay R200 ( Which I can barely afford due to still being unemployed) Now an attorney contacted me to hand me over, <br> <br> Highly frustrated as I had an account with African Bank which was settled in full due to retrenchment, but looks like Capitec does false advertising. <br> <br> Really hope someone from Capitec could help me sort out the retrenchment cover.
