Insolence at Capitec ATM
Yesterday, I went to withdraw money from the Capitec ATM on Bree street in Johannesburg. When I got there, there was a queue of about eight people and a Capitec customer service host assisting them. I asked the lady where I should stand and she promptly began to chase me away, saying that they are closing soon. I tried to explain to the lady that I can only withdraw from a Capitec ATM as my account is a secondary business account, she responded by saying no I should leave and go find another Capitec ATM. I started walking away and she mocked me by mimicking what I was saying. I asked her if that is how clients are treated at Capitec and she said yes. This was in front of quite a few people and I have witnesses who can attest to my statement. I, regrettably, did not see her name badge but I can recognize her and this is a brief description of her : About 1.6M tall , fair skinned, African, she had on a hair piece with blonde highlights, she is in her middle to late thirties. I was very appalled by her treatment of me as a client and a fellow human.
