Increased debits no explanation

I wrote a review on an irregular debit. They promised to call back in 6 days after the investigation. It’s been more than 8 days with no response. I cannot reverse the amount because numerous times I’m told it will affect my credit rating. An explanation of why when I don’t have an overdraft nor have I consented to any credit increase would be a great start!
