So i had someone sending me money to my account for transport to go home. This person goes to capitec bank and is assisted by the bank teller to deposit however he is told that a system error occurred and the money is not credited to my account. They also take his phone to call me instead of using their resources.

This lady tells me that the money will reflect in an hour. I waited an hour and called back the branch and I was told that the money crediting is still within their turnaround time which when I asked how long it is. The guy did not know

I am definitely closing my account with Capitec this month. Such inconsiderate group of people
