inaccurate credit posting and lowering my scoring.

I settled their Loan in March , they updated my credit score stating it was settled but 3 months later they post on my credit score that i am 150+ days i areas which has now caused a challenge with me buying a home. I also feel that with them making such a mess--up there is no sense of urgency in trying to resolve this from their side.
