I had fixed a a fairly large sum of money in my capitec bank and on the 4th of january 2016 i requested my money . I was told funds will be available in my account within 7working days. Nothing happened so on the 8th day went to the nearest branch to query and was told of system shutdown blah blah bt funds will be ready for me in 48hours which never happened. After going to the bank for the fourth time and moneyless . I got hold of a public protector lawyer and filed a rreport.we approached a capitec branchand eventually we were told they not sure what happened to my money but they will investigate. They offered sum compensation ofvwhich also i didnt get and after constant up and down , we summoned them to court . Weve been in and out of court including twice in the high court all they say is they have a high volume of ccases but they deposit my money including all my compensation theyve been offering me within 10 working days.still today its been almost 2 years without getting my own money i fexed into my acc . They keep promising no action
