ILL treatment of customer service

Dear Capitec, Wendy, Takalani and Others,

The below mentioned mail has reference, and the writer hereof writes this mail with great concern on how you conduct yourselves and treat your clients in bad faith, and I note that you are determined to make my life difficult I ask you all to cease your hostile attitude towards me.

Firstly let me correct the information you have submitted as it is misleading and questionable, my loan number and the information that is in my disposal is # ********** 754 (Image attached), so the clarity I'm seeking is that where did you get this information and I find this rather malicious?

If I can take you back I started applying for a loan from capitec with the amount of R49208. 29 on 01.11.2013 which was approved, monthly instalment R1852.96 and my last payment was supposed to be 25.11.2017. However on 17.04.2015 I app**** for a second loan which I believe you term it a multi-loan of the amount of R9000.00, and my monthly instalment R1743.00 on the first loan and R481.75 on the second loan, which in essence my last payment is 25.03.2018 as per the contact signed by both parties.

Now having said all of the above the second clarity I seek from you is that, you have stated on your mail that "you have engaged with numerous role players in this matter", who are those role players? Because there's nowhere on your mail that you make reference of the individual called Takalani, that you have engaged with her and what did she say.

According to the conversation I had yesterday with you Manager (cannot remember his name) contradicts what you have submitted, and he promised that and I quote: "there is a piece of a puzzle which is Takalani in order for us to resolve this matter, and as soon as i get hold of her I will revert back to you with feedback and ask her to call you back", I'm still waiting for his call.

Over and above that, sometime in September 2017 I went to the nearest branch and realised that, what is on my contract and on your system are not the same in terms of the last payments, as my contract stipulates March 2018 and your system shows April 2018. Which in essence showed that I was overcharged by the bank.

This is where Takalani a team leader comes in and I brought this under her attention, subsequent to the arrangement I was making with her on October 2017, and she did acknowledge that indeed capitec overcharged me, which she explained that the overcharge money will be deducted and reversed back to my account.

Now the problem came in when I made that arrangement, whereby I was participating in a protected strike for two weeks at my workplace which I requested capitec through Takalani not to deduct the full instalment in my account. And the arrangement we made was that I will repay R700 in November and R700 in December, and those two amounts where not paid which resulted in my loan being in arrears of R1700.

Now I went back in April 2018 to make an arrangement and settle my arreas, which I was on telephone in Capitec's branch with Takalani and reiterated that I have to settle my arrears and the overcharge will be overwrite and this impasse will be resolved. Indeed and amount of R1770.18 was deducted in April 2018 which in this case should then settle the amount in arrears.

To my surprise such was not the case, as I have been getting this unfounded allegations that I owe the bank. Please bear in mind I have noted your unbecoming tendencies and I will hold you personally responsible if a cent is going to be deducted from my hard earned money.

Do not take me for a ride, I will provide you with statements and messages of the deductions that capitec was making.

Hope and trust all is order.
