I want my funds released

Hello Peter, I have been banking with Capitec for a couple of years now. Last year December 2020 they decided to hold funds in my acc and i was told it has something to do with *****. I went to the bank and the consultant told me, we are very sorry its not your acc based on the transactions flagged. Almost a year later now i havent been contacted and capitec is still holding my funds. I went to one of their branches and I asked about that money, I was told they are still doing their investigations. My question is, Does it take the whole year to investigate. I want my money, I think I have respected them enough

Goodday, I finally got a call from Capitec bank on the 22nd of October 2021, they asked me to send them an affidavit, a case number, and a deposit slip for that money they are holding. I then asked the consultant Tarryn, why are you telling me this today. It's a year later, where will I find the deposit slip that I was never asked about a year ago. I went to the police station and they told me there is no case here for us to open. Lucky enough I had to email myself the telephone conversation with the lady that did put the money on hold on the 11th of December 2020. She refused to send me an email with the transactions she had flagged. I did not take her name but she to me Nedbank had opened a case against me for a client who had deposited money in my account. I did look for those transactions on my statement and I could not find them. I then went into the branch and they also could not find those 3 transactions. I have stated all this information in the affidavit that I will scan and email to the bank in the morning of the 25th of October. if the bank is not willing to release my funds, I will sue the bank in a week and get a lawyer we settle the matter in court. Case number, Incident# ***4

Thank you
LM
