A few days ago I visited the new Capitec Bank at the new Sibilo centrum postmasburg, I ask a lady or Consultant at the bank, I want to open a new account with the bank, because I am Retrenched from my work , how should I apply for the account, she said to me, sir you can bring your ID book and proof of your Residence or a Bank statement not older than 3 months, okay I was satisfied with that, I have no car, I walked back within three days, with my I'D book and Municipality account, for more than a Kilometer, I saw the same Lady and ask her to help me, I gave her what she ask , she checked everything I gave her, and then she said, sorry sir, you have to bring in your bank statement or you have to go back to your local Municipality to stamp your statement, You no , everything is on the statement my names Adress, property number, telephone numbers, but she didn't told me the first time I was there, I dit tell her that I came a long way and Walked so far, but she can't help me with a account, unless I will do that, I am a pensioner, so I doubt it that I am going to open a account with Capitec anymore thank you.
