I just wanna pay my loan!

I am highly upset that Capitec:

1. Stopped debiting my account for the repayment of the loan
2. Handed my account over to attorneys without notification

What's frustrating about these so called "lawyers" is that they are:
Claiming the capital amount is due of R165k which is rediculous as Capitec has been debiting my FNB account since 2012 for this loan so the balance due is not the full value of the loan
They are unable to share handover details from Capitec on letterhead confirming the outstanding amount due to Capitec
They are unable to share a Capitec statement of my account at the point it was handed over
They are unable to offer a settlement amount
They are unable to explain to me WHY Capitec stopped debiting my FNB account
Capitec contact centre informed me that my account was not handed over to these attorneys so I do not want to have any dealings with them especially since they are unable to share crucial information to get this process started. Initially I gave these ********** a change to share information and set up a payment arrangement with them in good faith, about 3 weeks after my conversation with them they had debited R4,200 from my account but hadn't shared the information I required so I reversed the payment and contacted Capitec who are refusing to assist me.

I never stopped/blocked the debits from Capitec so when Capitec stopped debiting my FNB account I assumed the loan was paid up since I don't get statements from Capitec and have been paying on this loan since 2012. I wasn't contacted by Capitec and then suddenly in May, 2016 I get a call from some random "lawyers" claiming my account was handed over to them for bad debt.

I contacted Capitec and in less than a month of handing my account over Capitec cannot view my statement, confirm how much was handed over to the attorneys, nor offer me a settlement letter. Which I find baffling, how am I expected to resolve this matter if I cannot get the information I need to sort it out.

All these vulture "lawyers" want is to charge me some ridiculous interest rate of around 25% every 2 weeks and set up an arrangement to pay R2,000 a month towards what they claim to be a R165k debt. This is highway ******* and I refuse to be a victim of banks colluding with ********** "lawyers" to swindle me out of my hard earned money. I never broke my arrangement with Capitec and I find it preposterous that Capitec should be allowed to break their arrangement with me.

I have been to a Capitec branch, and your staff tell me they can't assist me, I have emailed Capitec Client Care to no avail, no one has responded to my query, I have logged a complaint on Hello Peter and didn't receive a response from Capitec. Under the advise of the Banking Ombudsman I am making yet another effort to get this matter resolved with Capitec in the hopes that I will finally get the answers I am due.

In short I'm writing to achieve the following:

Get an explanation WHY Capitec stopped debiting my FNB account - funds were there every month as my debit order was scheduled to go off on payday
Receive a settlement amount to see if I can afford to settle this debt in a lump-sum payment
Receive an account statement showing when debits stopped going off on my account and the remaining balance
If I am unable to settle the amount in a lump-sum payment then I want Capitec to reinstate the debit orders of R4,200 a month till my debt is paid in full
I honestly don't feel this is a tall order considering I never interrupted payments and have made several attempts to resolve this matter directly with Capitec bank, yet the bank refuses to share my account information nor come to the table to discuss a resolution. I wish to get this matter resolved amicably as soon as possible.

Azeala contacted me asked for my account number and was never heard from again. Is THIS how Capitec "works" with victims of their incompetence to resolve issues?
