I didn't think there were worse banks than FNB, but Mercentile somehow is much worse.,

I went through a massive amount of effort just to open a business account with Mercentile Bank, just to find out that their online banking is unusable.

Firstly the login form doesn't allow pasting in a password. Secondly the password keeps failing when I'm typing it in. And the I get a warning that I'm going to get locked out.

I can't waste my time like this.

So I've asked for the account to get closed. I got no response from them. And now they keep sending me statements with charges on it.

I need my account closed. If you send me another statement with charges on it I'm going to contact the banking ombudsman.
