I couldn't qualify for credit in capitec dues to account that was handed over in 2014 of which account is clearance paid up

Im interested to know, i call one of the consultants in the bank required if i can qualify for credit car i was advise that i will never qualify for credit because in 2014 my account was handed over in MDB debit collectors of which the account had been paid up. Does it it mean if you ever experience financial difficulties with capitec to will never be gratend any credit even if now you can afford does mean if you mess up credit report with capitec its life sentence where is the grace and checking affordability we human we made and jumpidised the credit but as we grow older we we our mistakes. Whay must i do now i like capitec but i mess up infuture but now my financial status is stable
