How hard can it be to open a bank account?

<p>So i go to capitec bank to open a bank account, the manager kindly explains to me that i need an ID and a proof of residnce to open an account. She then told me that the mail i was carying which i wanted to use as proof of residence was not good enoug. She adviced me to go to my current bank and get a statement which can be used as proof of residnce. i did that. the problem started when i went back to the bank and assisted with a different prson. this person told me my statement will not word because the statement was saying i stay in limpopo and we are in gauteng. She said i need a proof of residnce that says im staying here in gauteng. im at gauteng now but my hom is in limpopo, is my limpopo home not good nough for me to get an account at capitec? This makes zro sense</p>
