Hidden Cost! Banking is definitely not “made simple”!

I have a credit card with capitec and the installment they sms me is never the installment debited. An sms on 22/01 said my payment due is R600.51 the debit order that went off was R840.71. 31/01 the sms says R1103.90 to be debited, 22/02 the reminder says R804.34, actual debited amount was R1103.90. 29/02 the sms says R1065.42, 22/03 the reminder sms says R778.31, actual debited amount R1065.42. You can see that none of the sms’s or reminder sms’s match the actual amounts debited from my account, this even after we’ve had to repo rate decreases, both of which have occurred well in advance of my debit order dates and capitec still manages to take more money than they say they will!? Definitely cannot wait to close this credit card and have nothing to do with this excuse of a upstanding institution.
