HANDOVER STATUS REMOVAL FAILURE
On the 3rd of July I had sent an email to Capitec CCS Credit Management department requesting for handover status to be removed from an account that was handed over in 2022. I have then joined debt review later that year. The capitec account was paid up in November 2022. The criteria for removal is. * The client has been handed over for at least 3 years, and * The client has been paid in full for a minimum of 1 year
The above has been met. I have sent them the paid-up letter from the lawyers that they used for collections. I have sent them the court order that the removal of debt review was granted & I also sent them the form from the debt review company stating that I am no longer under their debt review programme.
Now they are requesting a debt review clearance certificate. Which clearance certificates are only granted when the debt review process is completed & accounts paid in full. In my case I withdrew from the debt review programme when I paid up most of the accounts which was granted by the court (with a court order).
There is no flag on my name that I am under debt review,so I dont know why it is so difficult to remove the handover status when they clearly said the only criteria is that The client has been handed over for at least 3 years, and The client has been paid in full for a minimum of 1 year
Poor service & no urgency has been displayed
