Funeral claim

I claimed for my mom funeral on the 3rd of June,submitted all documents they required but still to date it's still pending,when I call to enquire what's the delay they tell me that they see that I had a policy elsewhere so they need a waver documents and they don't even want to disclose where because I don't remember any other policy,this whole experience is frustrating and disappointing
