I am a victim of *****. An unauthorized debt order without a company name came out of my account for over R3 000 and the Capitec said they cannot trace the phone number. However, I found a number on the sms when money left my account and the number goes straight to Capitec.

If an unauthorised debit order went off your account, please report it immediately through the Capitec app or by visiting your nearest branch so the team can investigate and assist in reversing the transaction if possible.
If you have a reference number or phone number linked to the debit, please share it with the ***** Department so they can trace it further. Capitec will never contact you from an SMS number asking for personal or banking details.
For your safety, always confirm transactions directly in the app and avoid sharing your PIN or OTP with anyone.
