I am highly disappointed in the feedback my mother received after been ****med money form her Capitec Account. My Mom went to town and she was buying Airtime from the street vendor only to have her cellphone number cloned , so she was not receiving calls on that number but was not aware as she has a dual sim card handset only around the 13th December she went into the branch to be told that there has been transactions done on her account. Bear in mind my mom did not give them her password nor pin and her pin is not saved on the handset so meaning these people are probably working with your employees , she was ****med R 4300 and your branch advised her that there is nothing that can be done as they are assuming she gave those ****** her pin because she is old. I work for one of the big banks and when something like this happens there is provision for clients to be taken care of but clearly your bank is just pure *****. Is this how our parents get treated in your bank WOW and yet you guys pride yourselves about being the best bank , really ??????? I want this looked into for my mother and give us a solution as your branch even took more than 2 months to provide us with a senseless letter , not sure what they were doing but i am sorry to say your bank is USELESS thank God i moved her accounts as the bank she is with is much safer than you guys claim to be safe. Kindly also look at her history my mom has never ever done a cash send that already should have told you something , those cash send were done by the people that cloned her sim card even now that number is currently not working
