My husband deposited money into his fixed account via atm since its was late and not safe carry money around on the 13th November,on the 15th when he went to the bank so he can get transferred to the main account he was told his account were blocked/freezed since its was alot of money deposited into his account via atm. When he explained how he got cash they said those people need to write affidavit as a proof then after capitec will call and confirm if vele its true. Everything was submitted on the 17th,after a whole week of my husband traveling to capitec every day on the 26 he received a sms confirm that his account its unlocked (all this was done in thavhani mall branch) . To cut the long story short when he went to the bank here at campus branch on 30th he was told his account its still blocked, he must wait for sms telling his it's account it's unblocked claiming that on they side it still shows that is blocked. My husband has been going to capitec for closr to a month basically they have turned him into a capitec employee whom they won't even pay. With the high number of **** happening at capitec i bet they are the once ******** people,i mean they have withheld our money for almost a month money so its can generate interest for them. My question is is this the kind of bank you want to work with? People who employed incompleted people, something which waa suppose to be a less than 48hour job has turned into a decade job.in the meantime while waiting for capitec to have accumulated enough interest with our money what does my kids eat? Who looks after them now that they can't travel to the grannies, who in the right mind does day care without being paid? What do i cloth them with?

Capitec it's useless, becareful where you put your money!!!!?
