Capitec Bank is such a ****!! I had a lump sum amount that was deposited into my account and one of their workers hacked my account and sent kidnappers to follow me. I was followed and held hostage against my will while they transferred all the money into a different account. The guy from the bank was the one who helped change the limits in my account which I had previously blocked. I went to open a case at the police station and reported at the banks. The managers from the store called me to their office and said that they've tracked all the accounts my money was deposited from and those accounts were frozen. They assured me that all my money will be back in my account and will contact the forensic department before releasing the funds. Till today I haven't received any feedback and they did not even give me a reference number as they are handling the matter as management. This was in August last year and till this day when I go to the bank they say the forensics department hasn't responded to them. I really need help with this.
