I have several investments with Capitec Bank. Is there security when opening an account? It seems to be a trend that every year I receive a call from Capitec informing me of a transaction taking place in my account to another bank. I can't believe my hard earned money got ****** out of my account on the 19th of August 2021. I was told to visit the closest branch and upon arrival was I told to present my declaration and then informed that my money has been moved to another bank. My records clearly indicate that I've never done an online banking transaction and was told that was the incident. I visit the bank on a weekly and was told that the money has been moved to another bank and should wait for that bank's refund. I found out the money has been moved from that bank too last week. Capitec has not returned to me about the money irrespective of me visiting the branch weekly. HOW SAFE IS CAPITEC?
