Went to my bank to go apply for something & my banker showed me my ITC report on their system.It showed 2 loan accounts from Capitec Bank it was alarming because I don't bank with Capitec Bank.I immediately left my bank to enquire at Capitec Bank went into the Centurion The mall at Reds branch & was assisted by a lady named Zoloyiso.She took my ID checked on their systems it appeared that yes someone used my ID number **********ly to open 2 loan accounts of about R70k.Zoloyiso then asked me to put my fingers on a machine to check if honestly the account is mine I did so & my finger prints were not on the system.Their system also showed this ********** picture it's a lady.She then told me she is going to refer this case to their ***** department & I must wait for 2 weeks for the investigations to be completed.Whats disturbing is that she didn't take my details or even get me to complete a form so how are they going to verify my details verses this ********* . Honestly Capitec Bank failed me by their reckless lending and their lack of FICAVERIFICATION it's clear that their processes risky.Now my ITC will be affected because of them my life is on hold all because of lack of security.
