Formal Complaint – I Demand Answers Regarding My ****** Funds

Formal Complaint – I Demand Answers Regarding My ****** Funds

I am extremely angry and disappointed by your response.

Quite honestly, your response leaves me asking whether we are putting our trust and hard-earned money in the wrong hands. You cannot simply tell me that *****sters moved the money quickly and then close the case as if nothing more could have been done.

Did you actually investigate the ATM withdrawals? Did you check the CCTV cameras at the ATMs where my money was withdrawn? Do you know the exact times the withdrawals took place, and did you establish who was physically withdrawing the money?

More importantly, did anyone check where I was at the exact time these withdrawals occurred?

I know exactly where I was — I was at the clinic and at the police station. I was not at an ATM withdrawing this money. I did not authorise these transactions, and I could not possibly have been responsible for the withdrawals.

This is what is most frustrating to me: did anyone actually take the withdrawal times and compare them with my whereabouts? If you had done so, you would have seen that I was at the clinic and later at the police station when these transactions were taking place.

So I want to know what investigation was actually conducted before you decided to close my case. Were the ATM records obtained? Was CCTV requested and reviewed? Were the withdrawal times compared with my location and the evidence provided to the police? Were the relevant ATM operators or receiving institutions contacted?

I want the whole country to understand how unacceptable this situation is. We trust banks with our hard-earned money because we believe our money will be protected and that, when ***** occurs, the bank will properly investigate and do everything reasonably possible to recover it.

Yet I am now being told that the money was ****** quickly and that you have "done all you can." That is not an adequate answer to someone whose money was taken without their authorisation.

It is extremely frustrating to be given a generic response when there are potentially important pieces of evidence that could establish exactly what happened — including ATM CCTV, transaction timestamps, ATM locations and my whereabouts at those times.

This is my money. I trusted your institution to keep it safe, and now that it has been ******, I am being told that there is nothing more you can do. That is simply not good enough.

I am demanding that this matter be escalated and independently reviewed. I want a full written explanation of the investigation conducted, including:

The exact dates and times of every withdrawal. The ATM locations where the withdrawals occurred. Whether CCTV footage was requested, obtained and reviewed. What was visible on the CCTV and whether an individual was identified. What steps were taken to determine who performed the withdrawals. Whether the withdrawal times were compared with my known whereabouts. Whether the police were provided with or requested any relevant evidence. What attempts were made to recover or freeze the ****** funds. Why you believe that closing the case is justified. If the bank genuinely believes that it has done everything possible, then I expect you to provide me with a clear explanation and supporting information demonstrating exactly what was done.

I will not accept being dismissed with a generic response while my ****** money is simply written off.

I trusted you with my money. I now expect you to show me that you took this ***** seriously and that a proper investigation was actually carried out.

Until I receive a satisfactory explanation addressing these questions, I do not consider this matter resolved. I want my money!!!
