Foreign exchange

I am so disappointed with Capitec bank's Foreign Exchange Department. Every month, my wife and I have to go into the bank to have our salary released, even though we filled in the forms that state we will be paid from the said company on a monthly basis, and this has been a regular procedure for just under a year now.

This is our livelyhood, and they treat us like its money thats not important. I often think, if they were paid 2 days later from their employer, would they be so casual about it? I doubt that very much, yet our treatment is handle without any care in the world.

Its not as if it is the first, second or even third month this happens. This has happened for 11 months without fail.

I'm no banking expert, but compared to banks like FNB, Standard and Absa, I would assume that Capitec is fairly small in the foreign exchange department, yet they are the only bank that takes days to process and exchange.

Any person receiving foreign money for remuneration should NEVER consider Capitec as an option, you will be shooting yourself in the foot.

Disappointed client.

So this was sent off for immediate attention, but after an hour, no call from Nondi Tsholoba formy banking details, unless they are able to process without my details.

If not, then it just mean that clearly this bank's employees have no regard for the client. If they are able to process, then I apologize for this reply.

But even a courtesy call to give some kind of feedback would have been appreciated.
