Forced to keep Capitec Credit card for 45 days when I want it closed!

I went to the Capitec Bank Parow centre twice to close my credit card account. I arrived and at first was told to wait for the pending transactions and I waited 3 days till they cleared then went back to close my account and only to be told to wait for 45 days before it can be closed. I want to close my account and now, I don’t want to wait for 45 days. I have paid it up and I want it closed!
