Fica Registration

I am very unhappy with Capitec how they handle their fica registration process. In January I was sent a sms to register at the bank with my personal details otherwise they will freeze my account. Not enough time to warn a customer I had to make a way to get to the bank before the end of the month. I am a full time student and I work part time. I brought my ID and proof of address. When I got to the bank my ID photo was not scanning on Capitec system. I was told I must get a new ID I asked the staff member where must I get R140 for a new ID where they can see I am the person on the ID and they have my fingerprints not to mention my photo on there system. I told them I have my drivers license and the manager at the bank told me they can not use my drivers license. I did some research and according to Fica a drivers license is valid to use for registration. I went back to another Capitec in N1city and was told Capitecs Fica department don't accept drivers license. They gave me a extension that will expire end of this month. Capitec claims they are following the rules of fica but they don't accept a drivers license. If this is not resolved I will be going to the banking ombudsman.
