FICA BANK LETTERS

I am the wage clerk for a farm in Elgin (with quite a large weekly employee list).<br> I gave an employee a bank letter as per the Fica regulation he has just returned from Capitec with another form of letter that now has to be filled in by myself. <br> It is not just a capitec problem but as most of our employees bank with Capitec this is going to be an ongoing problem. The info requested on their letter is exactly the same wording as our letter.<br> The banks just say they have to comply with Fica (but at who\s cost). The employee takes time off work(their cost) [URL Removed] transport cost. Then gets sent back to redo letter. <br> We have over the years changed our letters to suit the banks and again its our time and cost.<br> Capitec needs to explain why our letter versus their letter is not acceptable. A) ours is on the Company letter head B) my id no and name are on it to prove signature. Theirs do not even ask my id no. yet the information is exactly the same info I have to put on their letter as we issue them on our letter. DOES THIS REALLY PREVENT THE CRIME THAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY???"
