FICA

No one at any of the branches in Bloemfontein was so far able to FICA me. They refused to accept any other identification than a ID document notwithstanding the fact that the FICA regulations very clearly stipulates that any form of identification like a drivers license is acceptable. They also refused to accept a letter of the Body Corporate where I am staying as proof of my address at some branches while other branches accept it.<br> <br> They also required from me to FICA every six months notwithstanding the fact that the act stipulates that you have to FICA once. The staff at the branches and their help desk have no knowledge of the legal requirements to FICA.<br> <br> None of the other financial instutions require a client to FICA more than once except where one opens a new account.<br> <br> Siesa for Capitec Bank!!!
