False Capitec loan information given

I got a call offering me a discount to settle my capitec loan. I asked the lady if I did would I be approved for another loan. I used my last money and settled the loan and got a settlement letter in Jan 2022. Now when I try to apply for loan I'm being rejected. Doesn't capitec communicate with their companies once a customer has settled? Who do they lie and give the customer false hopes just to get their settled? Means like it.
