Failure to provide adequate info to travellers

I arrived in Europe 3 weeks ago and will be staying for 6 months. Before leaving South Africa I specifically went to Capitec, on two separate occasions, to ensure that all is in order for me to use my Capitec account abroad. After being assured by two different consultants that all I would need to do is to increase my limits, I did so.

Having used my card without a problem (swiping at shops in Europe) I then tried to purchase items online, but the transaction was declined each time. According to Capitec's customer care I had to register to make online transactions before leaving SA.
So now I'm stranded in one place for 6 months because I can't purchase anything online. Capitec claims it is impossible for me to register while abroad.
Below are the reasons why I did not register:
1) I was not informed, even after asking two different consultants on two separate occasions
2) I made an online purchase in November last year without any problems
3) On the website it states that in order to make international online purchases you only need \to ensure that your personal details... are up to date"[URL Removed]
"""
