Exorbitant charges on credit card

Signed on for a capitec credit card in kensington branch durban. Consultant did not inform me of insurance charges on this credit card. When I was charged these exorbitant charges I went into kensington branch durban and requested the calculations for said charges. They could not provide suitable answers and the consultant promised to seek the answers from head office or credit card insurance division. No responses were forwarded to me nor did I have the courtesy of any telephone calls. I went back into the branch 2 weeks later this monday 23 june and they said that no responses were received. Another manager Dain from cornubia standing in for the kensington branch manager promised me that she would give me an answer by the next day. This did not happen. I called the kensington branch manager today. Thursday 26 June and she was clueless as to how this worked. I demanded an answer by today. An hour later the branch manager from cornubia calls me and tells me that she has got an answer and forwards me via WhatsApp a response from a bot!!!. I could have got that!!

1. I was not advised of the insurance charges nor the quantum thereof. They simply do not know how these charges are calculated. 2. You are selling a product that you do not have answers for the insurance charges 3. The charges stipulated per the agreement are vastly different from what I am being charged and not according to the agreement 4. The attitude from the managers is that these are the charges, capitec is correct, just accept it 5. This is very suspicious that capitec has got state of the art software and systems and cannot provide a simple calculation 6. It clearly seems to me that capitec is making millions from these insurance charges and not even following their own agreements. This is a complete ******* and a clear case of misrepresentation. 7. Capitec has a clause 17 of their agreement that talks about treating customers fairly... bah humbug. I have not been treated fairly 8. This makes the capitec credit card one the most expensive out there. Don't be fooled by their rewards program. There are better credit cards out there
