Dragged Case

On the 23rd of December 2024 I mistakenly paid R40 000 into an fnb account. Upon realizing this, I then opened a ***** case with capitec on the 28th of December of the same year. I never received updates on the case I however made follow ups on the WhatsApp and I was told that the matter will be fast-tracked. Today, after almost a month I receive an email to say my case was unsuccessful and I must seek legal advise. However what's more upsetting is that the funds were released into the wrongful recipient account on the 16th of January 2025. How come I have no idea because it could have been recovered. What's even more depressing is that Capitec was to resolve this case within 14 days which was never the case. Is Capitec conniving with these people to de***** our monies or what? I am not convinced
