Don't stick to arrangements.

"Ok bank" as long as you only need to deal with branches.

When it comes to any other service they are the worst. Do not stick to any arrangements be it on dates for debit orders or even bank holidays.

Due to Covid19 we did not get a salary this month, phoned bank on the 24th to make arrangements for a bank holiday. (Account ahead not even in arrears). Made a loan with a 3rd party to afford food and rent for the coming months and Capitec then decides to take that money as theirs.

Went into branch to try and clear and they said no arrangements been made also refuse to reverse debit. Guess I'll have to starve for the next 2+ months while I am unable to work.

Wonder who will pay the rest of the loan when I finally "can work" but unable to.
