Does Capitec Bank Have A Real Life CEO?? - Shocking Service

Capitec Bank is the worst organization I have every dealt with. I strongly regret ever going with them. I took a loan out in 2016 and have been a loyal payer month on month. My experience from inception of my loan has been absolutley shocking. They would debit my account on random days - (Before payday, causing my debit card to bounce), contrary to the agreed debit order date stated on the documents. After attempting to get this sorted out for months, I had to send an email to their CEO and only then did I get a response to resolve. However since then, their CEO is no longer contactable. Capitec Bank does not respond to emails nor answer their telephones. Walking into a branch, you get told they are not equipped to assist. I attempted to call their helpline last month (June 2020) hoping I could get assistance and again July 2020. No surprise - No Answer. Since I have taken the loan with this bank, I have never received a statement. My loan should be close to being paid up and would like to know what is outstanding, however once again, I am unable to get a respone. It's a practical impossiblility to escalate this as their CEO seems to be a protected species as well. You cannot reach him via telephone or email. Looking at previous complaints lodged on HELLOPETER for this bank, it is concerning as some customers were debited way after they had paid up their loans and struggled to get a refund. This bank is very eager to take you on as a customer, take your money at a premium and thereafter just treat you as if you don't exist. I do not recommend anyone do any sort of business with Capitec Bank. They will hound you to take their offers, take your money and thereafter ignore you.
