Do not take out a personal loan with Capitec!! They overcharge!

I took a loan out with Capitec in 2014. I rescheduled the loan after the new Credit Act has come into affect which placed a cap on the interest that can be charged on personal loans, although Capitec's CEO classifies rescsheduled loans as new loans, they new laws doesn't apply to them as Capitec likes to charge their astronomical personal loan interest for as long as possible. I am actually in a position to settle my loan within a couple of weeks, then I will finally be free of Capitec. However, the loan amount on the phone app and the settlement amount is not the same. The settlement amount is R800 more! Why even state the amount owed on your loan on the app if it is not accurate or is it just a smoke screen? Is there no reward for paying you your money back??? I could have run away like many of your clients without paying my loan, but I stuck with it and many months I had to sweat blood and tears to repay you and now that I'm almost done you want to take even more money, your slogan should be 'we can squeeze blood from a rock'! It makes sense why you can charge so little for bank fees, because you overcharge on all your other services. I can't wait to settle my loan and finally be done with Capitec!
