DO NOT SWITCH YOUR SALARY TO CAPITEC

I changed banks from FNB to Capitec, which had clearly been the worst banking mistake I’ve ever made. I called Capitec and spoke to Matsetse Moleko, a manager apparently who promised he would switch my Capitec loan debit order to deduct from Capitec and give me feedback.

My Capitec loan debit order deducted from FNB, causing me unnecessary transaction fees for the failed debit order.

After that it went of my Capitec account and today, to my surprise it went off again from my FNB account as soon as I deposited money into my FNB account.

Needless to say that I’ve called Matsetse Moleko twice and each time he is very cavalier about it, full of empty promises of giving me a solution.

I will gladly change my salary back to FNB month end based only on the poor service I’ve received from Capitec. Funny how you’re always falsely advertising seamless salary changes but you have made mine a nightmare that I will tell anyone who is willing to listen about.

I need my money refunded to me ASAP and hopefully that answers why so many people in South Africa have an additional Capitec account but are not willing to switch their salaries to your bank.
