Do not bank with Capitec. Do not fall for the cheap fees that they constantly advertise. I am a Capitec client for almost two decades and I can confirm that client service is not important Capitec. Service levels are appaling and you will jump through hoops as well as go through the mill as their client before you can get any resolution on your issues.

From unauthorised services being charged to me to paid off accounts not being settled. You name it they will do it to you. They have a client care number that you will also waste your time calling into as nothing will get resolved when you call in.

Capitec prefers quantity over quality as they have the numbers of clients now so they do not feel the need to give quality service.

Take your business to another bank that will charge you more but will give you better attention.
