Divorce decree

On Monday the 11th Jan 2016 I went to open savings acc at capitec branch in Protea Glen, I had my original marriage certificate with me and I was with my husband and he had his id with him together with mine, to my surprise I was ask to produce my divorce decree from my previous marriage, because both surname appeared on the system, I was surprised because I have been married married for more than 5 yrs and I have open a number of acc under my new surname including a savings acc with FNB they never asked me any divorce decree.i fully understand banks works differently but I still don't understand what a divorce decree has to do with opening an acc while you have origianl marriage certificate as proof.<br> <br> On that same day my husband made a tranfer over the count of 2400 instead of 1800, we ask them to reverce the amount so we can deposit the correct amount of 1800, we were told if capitec can't get hold of the person it will be imposible to reverse the amount, how stupid is that, I mean to my understanding the reverse is done by the acc hold not the other person receiving the money its now 5 days we still dont have the money.<br>
