Dissatisfied

I am typing this email with great frustration and disappointment. It all started when i went under debt review last December as I was student part time and trying to make ends meet by working full time, I turned to protect my name under the circumstances. I then selected debt guidence and signed an agreement with them to place my financial status in their hands. Worse mistake ever! My debits were still going off as usually, which was not agreed. They then suggested that I change banks and reversed the payments. I then received letters from credits threatening for payment, which was strange. Is it not expected of your debt review company to stop collection activity? This was not the case, I then cancelled my agreement after the cancellation fee was discussed and paid. I moved banks from capitec to FNB, which has been the best decision I ever since. Shortly after my move to FNB I received confirmation that my debt review status has been lifted and i then passed this email into my creditors. In and out of the capitec branches i was, trying to proof that my debt review status has been cancelled. No one could help! No one could explain what is needed more, besides the email from debt guidence. I came up with some money after selling my car, I paid some of the debt I had. I then emailed capitec, wanting to agree upon an arrangement as my areas has now increased to more the 10K! I still have record of all emails communication sent. About two years prior to all this, I app**** for loan with capitec bank for 55K. My aim was to get my installments back to the same patterns as R1800 p/m as before. They emailed me back to state that they cannot agree upon a payment agreement without a court letter to confirm the debt review status no longer applies. I called but no one could help. Agents would shut me up by giving me debt guidences contact details as the matter needs to be discussed with them. Debt guidence could not help as they have cancelled their contract with myself and paid my cancellation fee which they have evidence of. I am now still in process of searching for lawyer to remove my debt review status. Today I received an sms stating capitec bank has handed my account over to Ver-Tex, which is the main reason I am upset. When I visited the capitec branch in Claremont, they couldn't even confirm if I was under debt review or not. Some days, some bank accountants just would stare at my with a blank expression as if they didn't recognise English. I have tried communicating with these people, but their lack of transparency is so poor it got me stuck and reaching out like this is the only plead more help at this stage
